Fashion trend forecasters today have the opportunity to develop and use a nearly infinite range of resources for spotting trends, developing forecasts and communicating their fashion trend forecasts. When fully armed, today's Fashion Trend Forecasters become a virtual army of one capable of rapidly developing, testing, sharpening and strengthening their trend forecasts. Improperly or under prepared, however, today's would-be trend forecaster is more likely to experience this wealth of resources as dizzying and crushing information overload. Not surprisingly then, some fashion trend forecasters respond to this crushing flow of fashion information by retreating to intuition and attempting to develop their forecasts by intuiting shifts and flows in global-tribal fashion market. In this series workshops participants will have the opportunity to develop tools, methods and resources needed to develop the foundations for an expertise in fashion trend forecasting born of inspirations, real insights and an ever deepening knowledge of the methods, tools, traditions and interconnections in the global fashion tribe. In combination the three trend forecasting workshops provide a comprehensive foundation for Fashion Trend Forecasting.

ABOUT DECÖ
DECÖ is the professional education counter-part of the World Fashion Council. Our workshops are in high demand because they are taught by industry and educational professionals (many traveling from the best fashion education programs in the US such as Parsons, Pratt &FIT). We restrict enrollment in each of our classes to provide an intimate learning environment and ensure each of our students has the opportunity to learn, grow and succeed in the field of fashion and as a WFC association member. This reflects our educational philosophy, our personal commitment to our students and our ongoing efforts to reclaim the role of professional training, apprenticeships and real-world learning in fashion education. To provide new members with the strong foundation they need our curriculum and professional development team has introduced our Fashion Tripod workshop series. Together the three workshops in this series provide a strong foundation in fashion. The three workshops in the Fashion Tripod are The Fashion Sewing Workshop Series, The Fashion Illustration Workshop Series and The Fashion Pattern-Making Workshop Series. This trio of workshop is complemented by our exclusive Fashion Trend-Forecasting Certificate and Fashion Stylist Workshop Certificate as well as four specialty workshop series that cover areas of member interest and opportunity such as Knitwear, Intimate Apparel and Costume Design. Finally, we are proud to announce that our Fashion Business Series as well as The Fashion Trend-Forecasting Certificate and The Fashion Stylist Workshop Certificate are now available for members in an online workshop format.
